Sorry for using YT shorts. That was just the original source.

I've never seen a situation like this before. The UAV looks like an RQ-21, but why is it blowing up over a lake in the US? The poster has shared no editional information but seems legit based on their posting history. Does anyone have any explanations?

Explosion looks fake, more fire than bang as if it were fueled by gasoline rather than something like c4, and we don't hear debris hitting the water

I would wager that the fuel supply overheated ruptured and ignited.. Or CGI.

A gasoline explosion would be fake..?

Well it wouldn't be the intended payload for a drone like this

Do you think this was in Ukraine or something..? It's in the US. It was likely loaded with tannerite, and it was likely done for the "yeeehawww" of it, based on the channel's content.

Weird. It doesn't look like they've used effects on their channel before. I'm not doubting you, it's just weird. I think the sound of the bang may have muffled the debris hitting the water. I can see the spashes where they hit.

It could be real, I'm no expert, just a guy who's watched a ton of mythbusters
