Found a copy of Stray hiding on an external hard drive so I've been working through that. I love hanging out with my new robot friends!

[-] Madison_rogue@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

Dystopian cat simulator is best simulator.

I love this game. Glad you're having fun with it!

[-] Ozycaevias@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Adored that game. Really nailed an aesthetic and feeling I love, and playing as a cat was a pretty novel way of making the gameplay feel distinct.

Plus, so much personality in each robot!

[-] milkytoast@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

that's such a good game

[-] HidingCat@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

That's next on the list for me, I think! How bad were the stealth sections (I hate steatlh)?

League of Legends, Diablo 4, I'm reinstalling Silent Hunter 3 cuz I wanna sink some battleships. Command Modern Operations. One of these days I'm gonna start making Youtube Tutorials on how to play that monster of a game.

Finally worked up the courage to play Persona 5 Royale again... having an absolute blast.

[-] newtraditionalists@beehaw.org 4 points 1 year ago

Street Fighter 6 has become a bit of an obsession.

[-] ampersandrew@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Same. How's your grind going? I just broke through a threshold last night and hit plat 4.

[-] newtraditionalists@beehaw.org 1 points 1 year ago

You're much better than me lol. Currently stuck in silver 5 with my main, lily. I'll get it eventually. I hope. Good luck breaking into diamond!

The Planet Crafter, they just put out their latest update. They've added additional blueprints and another way to get the blueprints

[-] uselessartifact@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

Diablo 4, Spider-Man: Remastered, and possibly Forza Horizon 5. PC for all.

[-] dave_baksh@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Hunt, Overwatch, Zelda, Diablo 4!

[-] Wodge@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Destiny 2, Assetto Corsa Competitzione and probably some Vampire Survivors.

[-] germanatlas@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 year ago

Arknights and maybe a round of PlateUp. I got exams coming, so I’m comparatively mild currently

[-] GeekFTW@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

MTG Arena (trying to get these damn lands in the lotr event), and then probably choice paralysis between a dozen and a half games.

Then probably just play some Dwarf Fortress lol

[-] Kauhuhu@beehaw.org 2 points 1 year ago

Totk, im on my 100% run and there are a lot of armors to upgrade and koroks!

I'm GMing Pathfinder 2E for the 2nd time tonight. Way in over my head. Thankfully, my party isn't experienced enough to know!

[-] Montagge@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Seikro and AEW Fight Forever. Maybe Eldenring since I grabbed that on the steam summer sale.

[-] Limewirelord@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Cult of the Lamb has been fun and also hilarious. Great little resource management + dungeon crawler roguelike and also adorably weird.

[-] MelenHirren@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

For me, it‘s Animal Crossing New Horizons, Road 96: Mile 0 and SongPop Party on Nintendo Switch and probably The Last Of Us 2 on PlayStation.

[-] punkskunk@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

Happy to see you mention Hunt: Showdown. That game recently broke a new record for most concurrent players, and the current wildcard “event” with the new boss and varying rain is fantastic.

[-] Ignacio@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Dungeon Keeper (via KeeperFX), and a bit of War for the Overworld.

[-] FrostBolt@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Battlebit Remastered

Diablo 4

And, while it's not a video game, reading the Pathfinder 2e core rulebook

[-] lowdownfool@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Trying some older games I have in my library. The Long Dark and Caves of Qud. I'm a glutton for permadeath punishment it seems.

[-] screwballll@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Started playing with Stellaris again.
I really enjoy the game but man it’s complicated.

I'm finishing up Chicory: A Colorful Tale after I stumbled upon Wandersong earlier this year. It's basically a playable coloring book occasionally interrupted by ruminations on art, legacy, and self-worth. So that's fun. But seriously it's a great game to just throw on after a long day and just color in a few screens. For something completely different I'm also working through the COD: Cold War campaign since that dropped on PS Plus.

[-] ampersandrew@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I've definitely been grinding Street Fighter 6 a ton, and it's been great. After nearly only playing that game for a month, I also went back to shake the rust off of Skullgirls, and I'll have to do the game for Guilty Gear Strive soon too.

Other than that, the hype cycle got me for Baldur's Gate 3, so I picked up the first two games, and I'm a handful of hours into the first game. I'm sure you don't strictly need to play those first two games to get into the second one, but it's a compulsion of mine to play the earlier games in a series before playing the latest.

[-] Squid777@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Started Ys 6 yesterday and finally getting around to doing a full playthrough of Ninpen Manmaru

[-] Triprotic@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I finally broke down and got a PS5 to play FF16, put about 5 hours in so far and enjoying it.

Will have to check out some other PS exclusive games in the near future too (if anyone has any recommendations apart from God of War, feel free to suggest!)

[-] subq@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Depends on what type of games you like but…Death Stranding DC was a bit different and really good (IMO). If you liked FF16 and you haven’t played DMC 5SE that’s good as well. FF7R is good. Pretty much all the PS5 Yakuza games are fun(ny). Ghost of Tsushima was excellent.

[-] Bluu@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

ToTK and Subnautica for me. Probably also some Roots of Patcha. I’m hopelessly addicted to caveman Harvest Moon.

Squad and Batman Arkham Knight, since I never played it and it was under £6.

[-] HidingCat@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

As a patient gamer, I just finished Return to Obra Dinn. It's basically a very elaborate logic puzzle rendered in a retro art-style that actually works.

[-] rem26_art@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Just got into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and I'm loving it so far, so that's my weekend plan

[-] Phrodo_00@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Just picked up a ps2 guitar hero guitar and moded it for PC, so a lot of clone hero.

[-] legion@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago
[-] miraih@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

TOTK and VALORANT for me

[-] derskusmacher@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

FFXVI, some Battlebit with a friend, and got a couple hours of Baldur's Gate 3 in today. Looking forward to BG3 release next month and wrapping up FFXVI within the next week.

[-] DarkGamer@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Elden Ring and Fallout 76

[-] Broadsword@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Diablo 4. I read somewhere that getting to 100 gets very tough past 80. Well I'm not even 50 yet, so I got some hours to put in.
