It has happened to me multiple times now that I go to the supermarket because I need a specific product and then end up forgetting to buy it because I bought so much other stuff that I don't even need
"If I walk all the aisles, I'll remember what I was after..."
I count the number of items to get, and tell myself to remember the number, then I sometimes summon devil's help to recall the very last item at the store. Half probability of successfully remembering to get the items justifies not writing in the first place.
I usually remember once I'm already halfway through checking out or back at the car.
Yes, we are just training ourselves by living life the hard mode, because life is hard. We do not take the easy route.
It doesn't help that our local stores change their layout on a regular basis for whatever reason. My guess is to keep the customers in the store longer.
Is that Sponge Bob face actually in the show or a Photoshop with Homer Simpson. Can't tell if its one of those inter-frame funny shots.
Looks like it's from an actual episode!
You're a true hero. I forgot Sponge Bob often does these kinds of faces.
This is why I can't go shopping alone
Oh it's fine at the store. But coming home and realizing what you've forgotten, that's the real fun.
Every time, I will never learn.
If I'm not in a hurry, aimlessly wandering the aisles is weirdly relaxing
Same, I just mentally check out
My notes app is my saving grace or at least it was until all my notes got deleted
ain't that the truth!
