I wish we had more than one season with Ezri. She felt like the first major Star Trek character to be written from a 21st century perspective. It was great seeing the shakeup in character interactions. More shows should regularly rotate their main cast to keep things fresh. This video clip is a perfect example of why.
I also think a lot of Lower Decks' more serious literary DNA comes from Ezri. She'd fit right in on the Cerritos.
