It was not news that Israel enjoyed massive U.S. and western support from the start. But October 7 showed us how far and how deep it went. Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the multiple atrocities it has committed against civilians, especially children, and the indescribable cruelty of its soldiers, all brazenly conducted in broad daylight, have been unashamedly tolerated and aided by the west. Not a single Israeli outrage has earned western condemnation.

This is what I have learned over the last year more than anything. I've known the true history about Israel and Palestine for many years, and I thought I "knew" how bad it was, how evil Israel and Zionists are... I have to admit that even I was shocked at the barbarity of the Israelis and not only their actions but the enthusiastic support, suicidal embrace, from nearly every single US official.

I just remember going "Ok, they killed the Hamas fighters that got past the wall. Time for the US to force a change with that whole wall situation that was never legally supposed to be there anyway."

Wrong. Now Israel wants to invade Gaza.

"Uh, surely the US is going to say no... oh, they're doing it. And they're openly bombing hospitals. Ok, clear war crime. Surely the US state dept will sprint away from this situation any second now..."

Wrong. All the hospitals are Hamas! No more questions on that!

And just on and on and on with endless atrocities, week after week, worse and worse, unique and unimaginable new ways to destroy a society. All backed to the death by the US president and his entire cabinet, seemingly, and over 95% of Congress. Probably 99% if I'm being more honest here.

But the US population, despite the 99% support between the legislative and executive branches, does not support this insanity. Sometimes it's hard to parse out the details from polling, but it seems to be over half of the country wanted this to end for a year. Since the invasion into Gaza. Like 70-80% of the party-in-power's members want it to end. Yet it's never been a serious discussion. Apparently the pentagon (DoD) and the CIA wanted this to end and have been overridden and sidestepped by rando dumbfucks working for Biden. The President is either too demented or too bloodthirsty (both, I'd posit) to see that Zionism is dead, it's in its death throes, and the US empire for that matter is also entering its death throes. This "ironclad" alliance and Murder-Suicide death pact between some of the most evil and repulsive people on earth (Trump, Biden, Harris, Blinken, Netanyahu, Smotrich, Ben-Givr, list goes on and on...) that has served as a cornerstone of US imperialism in the MENA region now appears to have become a lodestone around its neck dragging it to a painful, chaotic death... to Iran.

American leaders all the way back to the European "founders" have always fetishized Rome as an ideal society. They wanted, and they got, a martial state, powerful, always at war, dominating anyone with political force and when that didn't immediately work they'd simply dominate them militarily with superior technology and numbers. "Peace through Strength" Orwellian shit. "We will have peace when we have killed everyone else."

But much like Daddy Rome who failed, repeatedly, to conquer Ancient Persian... well, I suppose unfortunately we will see if the US will follow the old Roman tradition by losing in Afghanistan (✅) and now Persian (Iran).

Every single American has a duty to themselves, the world, Palestine, to resist these demands for war and continuation of genocide. Many of us Americans don't know what awaits the US and the world if an invasion of Iran was undertaken. Iran can, and surely will if their hand is forced, cripple the worldwide oil supplies. If Americans think shit sucks now... you have no concept of what sucking is. Yeah, let Bibi and Harris/Biden have their insane war, let them drive the world into a deep economic depression. For what? Because Israel demands to continue being a racist hellscape doing apartheid and now genocide? Because the US is angwee that mwean Iran hasn't just rolled over and died over the last, what, 70 years or so? That Iran continues to "threaten" the US alliance with another nation run by evil lunatics (Saudi Arabia)? That Iran "threatens" the US' access to MENA region oil and other resources? Have we considered... not... doing the most evil policies possible? Just because it's "been this way forever!" (not really that long actually) doesn't mean we need to continue failed policies which, by the way, are absolutely no longer useful. The oil regime is nearing its end and if the US would take the oil-nipple out its mouth for 10 seconds and look around, we could just build massive solar farms like China is doing. Wow! Imagine that! Then we wouldn't "need" to lock down the entire MENA region. Then... we wouldn't need Israel. Hmm.

It seems to me that over all these decades the cold, calculated evil logic of military and economic domination for the purpose of obtaining exclusive access to oil (a main driver of US imperialism since WWII ended) has been corrupted and overrun by still cold, still evil, but no longer logical fanaticism of Zionism. What was once a good tool to use as a reason for supporting Israel endlessly and opposing Iran, etc., a tool meant to be wielded cynically like "Oh yeah! Of course we love Israel! The Jews, folks! We love it!... so, we're getting the oil, right? Ok, good. Israel, folks!" has now become dogma for the stupidest, most evil dumbfucks who don't understand that Zionism wasn't the goal... oil, resources, wealth for western capitalists ripped from the people of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, etc. was the point.

It's like some "don't get high on your supply" shit. "Don't drink the fucking koolaid" or whatever. Don't actually believe the propaganda. That's just there to distract morons. And now they seem to believe the propaganda... not much else can explain the lack of any coherent plan. Just a bunch of actual idiots who believe in Zionism and are willing to see the US and possibly the entire world destroyed for a day-by-day less useful "ally". Insane.
