It was taken down like 10 seconds later, and I was given a stern warning to not be such a naughty boy. AI working overtime lol

it's crazy how blind the average person is to the amount of censorship, suveillance, blatant propaganda and "influence campaings" (aka outright brainwashing) in the West.

Literally just tell them about any of this, even citing regime media, and they'll think you are a loony conspiracy theorist.

the amount of proven psyops with massive botting campaings just in the last few years is insane.

I've never seen something like this in real time before. Just wild.

[-] DavidGarcia@feddit.nl 19 points 1 month ago

the wild thing is that this has been happening since at least ~ the War on Terror (as far as I have been able to observe myself) and until recently almost no one really noticed.

Citizen, you appear to have posted a brown person. This is your final warning.

It's all fun and freeze-peach until you actually threaten the ruling order.

Sometimes I wonder what the "don't taze me, bro" guy is up to now. Odds are something shitty, because amerikkka, but I like to think there's a slight chance he's doing something cool

Knowing Facebook, some slave labor ”contractor” in the global south probably did it.

With how fast it happened, it was definitely AI

Literally 10 seconds or less

Do not question the algorithm

I posted a photo of Harry Tuttle, but it was taken down because they thought it was a photo of Harry Buttle. It is correct, though, the algorithm knows best

The vast majority of moderation is automated. Facebook handles such a large amount of traffic that they can automate 99% of it and still employ dozens of moderation teams full time.

Can't wait to see how censorship is going to evolve with the use of AI

It’s gonna be like the candlejack meme

[-] CleverOleg@hexbear.net 13 points 1 month ago

Wow, Candlejack, now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time…

I'm seeing a lot of pro-Sinwar tweets on my timeline.

This is a really good read on the topic of AI weaponization by NATO countries, for surveillance and censorship. Pretty sure I found it posted on Hexbear dot net a few years ago.
