God damn it! How I hate stupid people who put 'before-and-after'-pics in the wrong order!

Fuck OP!

Praise Trex202!

Some languages read from right to left. Maybe the original image was from one of those places.

Damn, crazy how they had so many lined up like that and perfectly timed the demolitions for this shot.

That must have taken at least five full minutes of preparation!

[-] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

No, don't be silly. It's a left to right timeline. They exploded that stack into existence. It's much quicker than building it brick by brick.

Smh my head, it's so obvious now!

Construction companies hate this one weird trick for quick jobs!

I own 22 buildings thanks to random piles of rubble and explosives!

It's significantly more interesting while backwards, but why?

[-] Vakbrain@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 1 year ago

I'm pretty sure it is actually the fastest chimney construction ever!

See?! It even forms a dust cloud around the workers because they work so fast!

German efficiency at its best.

Not to be a know it all, but I believe that there is a chimney remolition. It’s where they implode one together.

[-] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 1 year ago

Wait. No. It is a demolition. We’re just looking at it from behind.

First i was like "Why are there so many chimneys in a row?"

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Wow the whole tall thing just fell right down into its own footprint.

From the thumbnail I thought it was actually a row of chimneys gonna be dominoed over. Now I'm kinda disappointed...
