On the one hand: GodDAMMIT, Boeing!

My bad. One of my Jewish friends let me borrow it and I couldn't help but push the big red button that says don't push

Suddenly or was it hit by something?

[-] ramielrowe@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

I mean, if you get hit by something, that tends to happen suddenly.

[-] BonerMan@ani.social 2 points 1 month ago

I mean as in intentional targeted hitting

It might have been hit by something. Or it could have had a failure and blown itself up. The history of these buses and some previous observations on this satellite, plus Boeing being involved, makes me inclined to think it blew itself up.

It's hard to fall out of the window in space, on account of not being able to fall and not having windows. But Boeing's got rocket scientists working on the problem!

[-] AlbinoPython@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Akshually, the satellite was falling the whole time.
