I am feeling a little sad about the state of my progress in relation to the imaginary and arbitrary goals I had set for myself - every task in the garden reminds me of two not being done. I hope your garden adventures are filling you with joy, though!

Let's share how our gardens are growing, and encourage those seeds we've all planted this year, whether that's in our gardens, someone else's, or within ourselves

I'm trying to concentrate on one task in the garden. But just moved a rose, planted some new plants.

just some Heather

Heathers play a huge role in providing forage to a number of butterflies, moths, and bees, so great job!

Yes, my garden is inspired by nature. It is supposed to give insects better places to live, and I like the wilderness too 😀

Here are the 17 pawpaws (Asimina triloba) I planted today around the property

Cold weather is on the horizon - I'm rapidly building an inside grow zone to move some plants inside as an experiment this year. I'm getting cold frames and what not set up for outside.

Lots of things to chop down and replants, I'll be trying a bunch of cool weather crops this fall since I built so many new garden beds!

I'll be harvesting everything that's still out there. We had a last little burst of warm-ish weather, and the poblanos put on some size, excellent! My everbearing strawberry plants are still going insane though and producing tons of fruit!

I have a bonus tomato plant that grew in my window when I repotted a monstra (?) using the compost from our place. It has taken over the window, lol and produced, so far 1 tomato the size of a small bouncy ball, and since we had a late season bee sneak into our house 3 more have budded.

The habañeros we planted have given off buds but no fruit.... pretty disappointed.
