December is the busiest month for postal services, so it's time to prep. Please nominate here your soaps that you wish to be used on December 18 for the 5th installment of the BVWSC! For the newcomers: If your nominated soap wins the election, you have the honor and priviledge to send out smushes to the other shavers here.

Reminder:

  • July: AYLM Don José
  • September: MacDuff's Old Strathcona
  • October: LPL Narcisse
  • November: Stirling Oro Valley

I have two I'll throw out as possibilities:

  1. Barrister and Mann - Latha Taiga
  2. Chiseled Face - Pine Tar

Edit to add: I keep wanting to nominate more of my soaps. It's surprisingly hard to decide!

Another month, another BVWSC, another chance for nominations

Could anyone clarify how voting works exactly? Does everyone get a set number of votes, or do we order the soaps in order of preference?

It's ranked choice: you give your order of preferences, and I will convert it to numberss You don't have to rank everything. Your first choice gives the soap 10 points, your second nine, etc.

Got it, thanks!

Basically PBNTs666 posts the voting thread separately, each nominated soap is a single comment. Voting doesn't work by upvotes, you'll need to clarify your choice/rank for each nomination by replying to the comments. When everyone has voted/ranked, PBNTs666 compiles the data and the soap with the best placings has won. 😉

Edit: just saw he already answered you. Well, I repeated what he said but in different words 🤷🏻‍♂️

I appreciate your different words as well! 😄
