Their previous game, In Other Waters, is also well worth checking out. Different style of gameplay, but similar focus on narrative.
In communities for the Murderbot Diaries series of books, I sometimes see this game mentioned as a good fit for the feel of that universe. What I've seen in clips of playthroughs bears that out; I bought the game a while ago but haven't gotten around to actually installing it yet.
Anyway, I just wanted to shout out the Murderbot series as something that folks may be interested in if they enjoyed this game's world and are looking for something to read.
I LOVE Citizen Sleeper!! one of my all time favorite games, still gottaget around to different endings
I love the games vibe. The only thing that fell flat for me was the difficulty curve. After the first third I kinda figured out a loop and "won" the game's economy which distracted from the depressing scarcity of the first hours.
Still very worthwhile for the small stories the game tells around every corner. The short playtime makes also sure that it doesn't overstay its welcome.
Yeah, it took me longer than that, but there was certainly a point after which I wasn't too concerned about money.
Sounds like elements of the old MUD “Sindome” along with Logan’s Run and Robocop
It sounds and looks really cool! Added to my list.
