My understanding was that the main impetus for this was Haartez publishing articles about the IDF firing on concertgoers on Oct 7. But I didn't follow this super closely.
At some point you'd think more Israelis would look around and see this shit and go "oh we're the baddies, aren't we? Dang. This sucks."
