I've found the Stellaris community rather accepting for a game with a genocide button.
Furries? The furry community tends to be pretty tightly-knit.
*tightly-knotted
Yes, that as well.
Dunno about diverse but deep rock galactic had the nicest community of an online multiplayer game I've ever encountered at least whilst I was playing it. Genuinely wholesome which is practically unheard of for an online multiplayer game.
Well, there's an overlap with the Mario rom hacking community - or the Mario community in general. I remember the Stardew Valley community to be also quite welcoming.
Are they? I've associated "cozy" games, cottagecore aesthetic, and anything kawaii pastel cute!!!!! with the most vile hateful bigots who would literally dox and murder you. They literally have. Never let your guard down around a S*nrio fan.
Probably depends a lot more of the contents of the media/fandom then with the artstyle itself.
The last [little white cat with a bow] fan I knew was a crazy stalker who copied everything I did and tried to rape me. Her imitation was as flattering as blackface. But she knew how to hide her anger towards me and come off as harmless towards everyone else so I looked crazy for being scared of her, a harmless sweetheart who just looked up to me. Never again.
Soeedrunners tend to be from the games that I follow!
The Super Mario World speedrunning community is pretty good.
Certain subsets of the Minecraft community (nowhere near anything to do with pvp), and some rhythm games are what comes to mind for me although I don't have any comparative abilities to go off of.
For Karl!!!!!!
