I sometimes fantasize about being on one of them luxury trains with the beds and wood panelling and a bar car.
This is the world we all deserve to live in
My area has a light rail that goes to the airport and the city which is really great for when we go to concerts and whatnot.
They're expanding it to go to two nearby cities but one part they had to tear down the tracks and start over for reasons and the other direction it's going to take them 20 years to add 20 some miles of tracks it's extremely embarrassing

I was once on a train for two days straight in China, 2008, and it was magical. I yearn to go back. The rhythmic rocking lulling me to sleep was heavenly.

It's a regional commuter train. All electric, single decker.

It's alright. It's totally full and the seats aren't very comfy but it's cozy and I'm enjoying the view

I am not on a train because the closest passenger train station to me is over 100 miles away
