I have one I made and two more I received as gifts. I've never bought a wallet.

I'm pretty sure I bought my first one or two wallets, but they were low quality. I got a good/name brand wallet as a gift 20 years ago that I'm still using.

I put my wallet on my Christmas list a decade ago and still have the same wallet, so yes it does get gifted a lot but lots of people buy them
