I must admit that burying a corpse in a cemetery is kind of genius.
Wasn't that a plot twist on a book, movie, or TV show? I swear I've seen that trope several times. Hide the body in somebody else's grave before they're laid to rest.
It's a pretty old trope but it's usually a grave somehow connected to the murder and they get caught. Just gotta throw them off with a random grave.

Detective 1: Hey, meet me at the murder scene we just discovered.
Detective 2: On my way.
Detective 2: realise they don't know the way and looks it up on google maps
Detective 2: Oh. Solved it!
