Saw your post, went and clicked said link and was able to download immediately! In fact, commenting this from the beautiful boost :)
There seems to be some misunderstanding here. The text marked in the screenshot is if you move from the beta version back to the public (stable) version.
Getting into the beta for a new app is nearly instant and allows you to install it right away.
It was basically instant for me lol.

I saw it neither in play store after getting access. But I switched to Aurora Store and installed it immediately.
I just downloaded the aurora store because of this comment and it says "App not supported", I am on a Samsung s23 ultra. The Google play store still says "coming soon". Anywhere else I can try? It doesn't show up at all on f-droid, and I see nothing about it on the Boost website.
This is going to sound stupid but pasting the URL into the Google Play store search worked for me

Thanks. This took me to the boost for lemmy page in the store, but it didn't look any different than just going there the normal way. I've been registed to test it for probably almost 2 months.
Ahh okay now I got the misinformation. You first need the invite screen from op here. AFTER register to this beta it is available.
