toot! https://github.com/ihabunek/toot

Use it all the time in the terminal. Plus its a great name.

Jerboa on android. Its excellent.

Fedilab for mastodon on the phone.

Peertube for android. The new app is pretty good, just wish it had logging in and looking at my subscriptions.

Phanpy for mastodon on my laptop. Great mastodon browser.

w3m / Links2 for everything else of course.

I got everything but the image support working without any real effort. Just pip install toot.

Lemmy - Eternity (Android) Lemmy - Photon [phtn.app] (Windows) Mastodon - Moshidon (Android) Mastodon - mastodon, elk (Windows) Bluesky - Bluesky (Android/Windows)

i think there is confusion if you mean clients or platforms

i think you meant to ask about platforms? as in lemmy, mastodon, friendica, peertube, misskey, akkoma, mbin, pleroma, gnusocial, ?threads?

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 months ago

I meant both apps and clients, kinda forgot to put the second part

[-] synae@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 3 months ago

Lucky for you, enough people are confusing the terms that you're getting answers for both haha

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 months ago

Phaha yeah I was thinking that

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

Fair enough, any particular web UI or just the default ones?

Default lemmy UI, but I changed the default dark theme to the light theme, the dark theme looks weird to me.

I don't think my instance has alternative web UIs.

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

You could try lemmy web apps, basically an app ui for on the web, unless you use lemmy on a computer

[-] can@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 months ago

You should still be able to try something like Photon

I have mastodon and lemmy, and to a much lesser extent Bluesky.

I’m on iOS, so ice cubes, and voyager

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

Ngl I don’t like bluesky I had trouble trying to delete my account

[-] LadyMeow@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 3 months ago

Oh interesting, I deleted my first easily I think. I was going to leave it but ended up wanting it for a few things

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

Well I ran into a rate limit then it just wouldn’t let me click delete afterwards, in the end I had to make a GDPR request to delete my account and data

[-] Nemo@slrpnk.net 4 points 3 months ago

Just lemmy but I've been meaning to check out funkwhale.

[-] GissaMittJobb@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 months ago

Summit on Android, only.

Thunder for Lemmy on Android.

Tusky for Mastodon on Android.

I rarely use either Lemmy or Mastodon on desktop. If I do, it's just through the web client.

[-] isagani@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 3 months ago

Is it me or I really can't see likes and dislikes count on Thunder?

[-] z3rOR0ne@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

They can be tiny I guess. I can't really say, I disable like/dislike counts.

[-] QuentinCallaghan@sopuli.xyz 3 points 3 months ago

Tusky on Android.

[-] espentan@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Tusky, for Mastodon, and Sync for Lemmy. Last I checked the Sync developer appeared to be missing in action, so might need to switch to something else in the not too distant future.

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

I thought sync was a paid service?

[-] espentan@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Ads if you're not paying, unless you're blocking them, ofc.

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 months ago

Fair play, seems alright

[-] Hadriscus@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago

Voyager for Lemmy on Android (slightly better experience than Jerboa imho), and Tusky for Mastodon. Soletimes Fedilab because it handles multiple accounts and platforms (Pixelfed...)

[-] Moobythegoldensock@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago

Arctic for Lemmy. Also have Peertube app but there’s not much hosted there yet.

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 months ago

May I ask what made you choose peertube

[-] Moobythegoldensock@lemm.ee 5 points 3 months ago
[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 months ago

Ahh that makes sense, I’ve assume you’ve heard of invidious and pied and the other similar front ends

The Jerboa Lemmy client, and Mastodon's official client. I think they're both fine enough for my fediverse browsing needs.

[-] small44@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Only Voyager, i would be interested in a decentralized bandcamp alternative

[-] I_Miss_Daniel@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

Also Voyager.

Wish it had a 'forward' button for when you accidentally go back one step too far. RiF had that.

[-] Ste41th@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 months ago

You could make the suggestion to the dev

[-] yogthos@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

I use Mastodon and Pixelfed

[-] WeAreAllOne@lemm.ee 1 points 3 months ago

Summit for Lemmy (Android) and Moshidon for Mastodon (Android).

[-] vtre7@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 months ago
  • Mastadon - Moshidon (android) Mona (ios)
  • Lemmy - Eternity/Thunder (android) Voyager (ios) Alexandrite (web)
  • Peertube - Tubular (android)
