Funny how this is hidden midway though the article. Good job, whoever did it!

Critics say that if the motive was animal activism, it is misguided, since the animals were raised in captivity, will not be able to become pets, and can harm agritourism efforts.

Ah yes, the two things animal activists only care about, making wild animals into pets and agritourism efforts. It also says most ended up dead last time this happened, as if they'd be living happy and fulfilling lives in the fur farm. I'm surprised activists haven't started setting fire to the farms at this point, since that's the best way to hurt the owners.
