Better copy that doesn't cut off the author's credit

the song inspiring this comic, video killed the radio star, is 45 years old, also happened to be the first clip on mtv

[-] CrayonRosary@lemmy.world 26 points 4 months ago

Yes, and that song was about television destroying dramatic radio broadcasts. That happened in the early 1950s. So, about 72 years ago.

Why does the knife have fresh blood on it if the victim is already buried? 🤔

[-] FilthyShrooms@lemmy.world 14 points 4 months ago

He killed someone else on the way over

[-] sxan@midwest.social 6 points 4 months ago

Radio has especially durable blood.

I love podcasts, specifically, paranormal and fringe ones. However im so tired of every rich idiot with a microphone and a spare bedroom spewing their collective nonsense unto the ethere

Rogan, Jones to name a couple. Vulnerable people take what they say as fact and it's sad

I enjoy third eye drops, really great philosophy type pod. Bledsoe said so, ufo type pod. Creative codex. Debriefed with Chris ramsay

I could go on lol. Third eye drops is my favorite as they touch on a lot of my favorite subjects i.e. psychedelics, esoteric topis, philosophy, even ufos sometimes

[-] Mothra@mander.xyz 7 points 4 months ago

Wait is there a song about podcasts and necromancy?

[-] 4oreman@lemy.lol 4 points 4 months ago

[-] frezik@midwest.social 2 points 4 months ago

In the back, thinking really hard about how long they can edit a music track in without being demonetized.

If there's one song that takes me back to GTA Vice City, cruising downtown on a harvey davidson style motorcycle, then it's "Video killed the Radio Star", what a tune.

[-] samus12345@lemm.ee 1 points 4 months ago

But who killed the video star?

(after 25 years, we finally hit the year in the video...and it fucking sucks!)
