As i understand it, Ford tried to ally with trump multiple times, and only got punched in the face with bad deals for Canada for it. I vaugely recall the aluminum tariffs and covid response in first term finally sent him off.
It's like nobody realizes Putin is elbow deep in Trump's ass, working him like a Muppet, to destroy any and all relationships and goodwill America had.
Nobody gets the good end of any deal with the US except Vlad.
The one good thing Doug Ford will ever do in his whole rotten life. Fuck the US.
As someone who would be absolutely greatly affected by this, especially right now with a giant winter storm headed in expecting 10-20 inches. I hope they do it today. Make it hurt, people need to be punched in the face with reality. Maybe that'll wake people from their walking fever dream.
Stay warm nonetheless, of course, and keep an eye out for the elderly.
