If The Onion or another satirical fake news outlet had run this story, the tankies and Putin-lovers would have launched a shit storm of epic proportions. This just adds to the feeling that satire has long been overtaken by reality.
You have to admit, they have a great sense of macabre humor. I guess the only countries that top that are China and Iran.
