Also, don't listen to anything a company claims, assume they are just lying because we'll..that's what they do more often then not.
Also also, don't twist yourself into knots or stress out too much. Being an informed shopper can take a little bit more effort when starting out.
We desperately need competition to ensure that the oligarch grocers don’t just use this as excuse to squeeze more profits from us.
Write your MP about strengthening the competition bureau today! Give em some real teeth, we deserve a competitive marketplace.
Loblaw's wouldn't know how to tell the truth. Register the pre-tariff prices with a regulator and fine their asses off if they don't reduce the prices after the tariffs come off.
They fucking looted during Covid, they'll do it all over again.
The Feds should put legislation in place to ensure the grocers don't price gouge or conspire on prices like they have in the past. 15% profit only.
What we need is a nationalized grocer.
A company not driven by profits that the corporations have to compete with, because they obviously don’t compete with each other.
