Zelensky is going to let martial law expire in May and won't renew it. At least that's what members of the Ukrainian parliament announced. This indicates that most likely, Ukraine is finally going to get elections. There's two possibilities here and they are not mutually exclusive. Either Trump pressured Zelensky to quit the government (probably a Russian demand as well for any further talks), and/or the military and nazis have turned against Zelensky after the debacles at Kursk and Toretsk (which saw massive casualties among the most elite Ukrainian units, which also happen to be the Nazis).
If this is the case, then Zelensky's only real option is to let elections occur soon without him taking part in them. If he let's elections occur, then there's no real point for the Nazis to rise up against him for the time being (unless it seems obvious that they can't win the elections). If he doesn't take part, then that ensures the Americans (along with the Europeans) will protect his life and help him escape to some French or Floridian beach resort with the bulk of his accrued corruption treasure.
