There's "Tip of my joystick" on .ml, but it's not very active. However, you're already here, may as well ask.
I think you've found it. Give us some clues!
How long ago? What platform? Genre?
check my edit for description.
It was Duke Nukem Forever
No but I enjoyed that game, although the catch phrases got on my nerves pretty quick.
Don't ask to ask, just ask.
I'm wondering if there was an Aztec2 cause the name rings a bell. Thanks, I'm going to check who developed this but it looks abandoned.
Okay I've watched a couple of vids and it might be this.
In the same genre but must have come after this because it was much better quality.
Is it battletoads?
No but thanks
Describe the game
A self-perpetuating meme where the objective is to forget you're playing it. By remembering it, you have lost the game, and by custom, must announce it aloud.
I lost.
Me too
Faxanadu, or Castlevania II: Simon's Quest.
Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest Not those games but it was an 80's game. I edited my question for description.
Much earlier. check my edit for description.
Horace goes skiing?
I live in a snowy place so I never liked winter games. Maybe if they had one about shoveling out your vehicle.
Well I hit the right era, didn't expect it to be that old! The game you describe does sound very familar, I'msure I've played it...now you've got my aging memory working away!
Could it be Aztec?
Yes, someone else suggested that, I think it was. I just remember it being way better than it looks today. Cutting edge in the 80's.
That's usually how these things play out.
Same thing happened to me when I tried watching Thundercats again. Oh boy.
Sometimes it better to just keep the memory.
Xenon 2?
No but > Xenon 2 kind of reminds me of Galaga.
I don't know Gaaga, Xenon & Xenon 2, Megablast was my Atari ST era. I remember the soundtrack/music being very good for that time.
Lessee. Username's a reference to Snow Crash, which is a cyberpunk book. Played the game "years ago". The game must have a name not so connected to the content that OP would have already remembered the name before posting.
I'm going to guess Shadowrun for the SNES.
Good catch on the book but the game is from the 80's

Temple of Apshai?
Temple of Apshai? No but thanks.
