I don't see any pictures of the tattoo in the article. For anyone curious, this video shows the tattoo at about 2:15.
It's a colorful, twisted ribbon made of puzzle pieces. The name of his 15 year old brother, who has autism, is on the tattoo.
Too colorful for the Magats, looks too close to a pride flag for their comfort.

I think something this article missed is that the autism awareness tattoo, while looking absolutely nothing like a gang tattoo, does very much look like a pride tattoo, and we know these people are not only targeting immigrants (or people who look like immigrants) but also trans and the LGBTQ+ community at large.
would not be surprised if they started targeting autists though. be safe out there.
