It's unlikely. Remember that there's a lot of stage management going on at all times. Trump and his crew are not smart enough nor powerful to just suddenly end every active continuity program of the world's most brutal authoritarian state. A lot of what's going on is being supported by factions within the military, particularly military intelligence, and by the MIC. These forces have been working the system for decades and don't come and go with an election. Vibes tell me we have greater-than-even odds of this presidency being the last one that maintains the farce of legitimate elections.

In an ideal world, Trump will insist on running, and the GOP will pull a DNC and not have a primary, then the supreme court upholds that no, Trump cannot be on any state ballots, and by being the only national party on the ballot, the DNC eeks out a victory despite forcing the newly MAGAfied, gold chain wearing, UFC Zuckerbergian Gavin Newsom on us in a rigged primary and then running on a platform of "abundance" which is fooling nobody by slapping scifi bullshit on the same tired rightwing neolib bullshit they lost 2000, 2004, 2016, and 2024 running on.
Somewhat amazed this drug fueled wacko has not kicked the can and it is possible he will live until 2028.
