Someone like Gab smolders, not over the top reactions, with long videos. Gab does a lot of Nacy Drew and Hidden objects games which i don't really like. She also multiplier games with easysmall but not often as i would like. SMii7Y does mostly multiplier but his videos too vulgar for my taste.

I love this, I've been meaning to create a topic like this myself since I do love watching Let's Plays.

I think Welonz is pretty close to gold standard for me. She doesn't use a webcam so if that's a deal-breaker then be warned. Otherwise she is extremely attentive, delves deep into lore, is super smart and brings great analysis. Her final thoughts after finishing a game are always interesting to listen to. She would be my favourite if she didn't abandon Disco Elysium after only one trial episode (whyyy, it is literally perfect for you!?). Typically plays story heavy games and a lot of indie games. Found her through her excellent Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines playthrough.

Mapocolops is also great. Does use a webcam. Similar focus on lore, plays a wider variety of games, fewer indie games. Really like his commentary, reactions and play style. Deserves a special commemoration for his willingness to play retro games. Had a great playthrough of Deus Ex 1 last year, also played Fallout 1&2 recently. Is currently playing Deus Ex: Invisible War.

This reminded me of SuperBestFriends and now I’m sad again :( I watched those guys a lot, funny and with great chemistry, it’s like they were my friends or something lol. Crazy how that works.

Not sure if he's up your alley, but I enjoy Ryu (ryukahr) for this. I find his content cozy. I only watch his Mario channel but he has another channel with full play throughs of other games, mostly retro.

oh I've got quite a few. well, it's all over the place. I'm assuming you want long videos to have on in the background and not something, like, Jerma985's slapstick gameplay

Deus does challenge runs in the Shin Megami Tensei games and their like. Latest video was three hours long, but most of his videos are between one and two hours, I'd say. Fun to listen to someone speak about a game they're passionate about, and he never stops talking.

Amos has literally one playlist on their channel, a playthrough of an old game called Baroque. Very fun to listen to. They have a neocities page, which means to me that the aesthetic is good.

Kiwo technically might not count but she's a livestreamer who records all of her streams on youtube. another gamer who just enjoys playing games and talking to people in her chat. very chill vibes.
