If an app can only be disabled there is a very useful tool called Android Debloater. Using a computer, download ADB + Fastboot (I prefer the portable version, no installer), move the files from Debloater into the same folder as the ADB files, and execute the debloater from that folder.
Once you learn the basics of enabling USB debugging on your Android, connecting it to the computer and running the debloat tool, everything else is simple. It gives various recommended lists of apps to disable or completely uninstall, and descriptors for almost every package so you know what it's used for. It's how you can remove any unwanted social media apps, and is indispensable when deGoogling without custom ROMs.
