The Hampster Dance meme happened 5 years before the Badger meme.
Whoever made that gif should be punished.
It's Hampster, because it's in honor of Hampton the Hampster.
Also, did you know where the Hampster dance is from, as music? I was today years old when I learned this.
Robin Hood being my favorite Disney movie from my childhood, I did indeed know that! I liked the song before I ever saw the Hampater Dance, so it was a shock to me seeing it the first time
I loved it as a kid but never made the connection consciously as far as I remember.
