A steelman argument (the opposite of a strawman).
Its seems a steelman is making the other person's argument stronger before tearing it down whereas mine seems to be airing out the inconsistencies/taking it down a peg (but not false things like Strawmen) before conceding the argument or its outcome is ultimately compelling to me
Its like my logical side is having a mild tantrum that theres all these ridiculous things about it even tho I end up sort of buying whatever they are selling. Like a reverse-order "I accept but here's why I shouldn't"
Edit: tearing it down before conceding to it
Does staying up late count?
