I watched Guy Ritchie's The Covenant for the millionth time.

It's just magnificent. Probably going to be film of the decade for me.

I've been re watching 'Unforgotten' on DVD, a British crime drama TV series. Beautifully paced, well written, well acted and engrossing even on the third watch.

Oh that is nice…I haven't seen the last 2 seasons yet. I thought it ended at S4. BTW I also liked Nicola Walker in River and Annika.

Yes! Me too... I've watched series 5 but not 6. They manage the transition to a new DCC guv' pretty well. Same production values.

I am, however, waiting for time to erode the perceived value of series 6 on DVD.....

Spaceballs, Drive and a bunch of South Korean action flicks like Psychokinesis and the Man from Nowhere.

Finally watched those Dune movies. They're really good. If you're a fan of fantasy and sci-fi hooking up and blurring the lines between the two genres a bit, this should be right up your alley. My only complaint / wish is that I'd maybe waited for a 3rd movie before watching because they're blatantly just parts of a bigger story and not that satisfying on their own.

Also finally watched Barbie last night. That was also very good. Slightly bittersweet considering that a big part of the plot was the Barbies stopping the Kens from destroying democracy. Not at all a fan of the ending where Barbie becomes a real girl though. Felt like that was kinda unnecessary and had nothing to do with anything else that the movie was about.

Edit: oh and I also finally watched that Mashle anime (this was a week of getting through random things that have been on my list forever) and it was funny as hell and I liked the overall message and shit but it's not the kind of thing that I would normally seek out and watch of my own accord. Very much a 'kids' (or maybe teen) anime show with a magic school and shit. The non-binary character that I watched for was cool as fuck though.

Miss Kobyashi's dragon maid. I'm branching out on the anime I watch. It was fun, a bit odd at times and had a bit much booby humour for me but I enjoyed it mostly.

Strays. A movie about stray dogs that's not great but enjoyable for dog lovers (me).

Just started Robotech.

I've watch both Yellowstone prequels. Moving on to the actual Yellowstone show but worried I may not like it as much since the setting is modern.

1883 in particular was very good.

The first episode of the new Black Mirror season. But after like 5 minutes I predicted the whole episode 95℅ happened exactly like I said, which was a bit dissapointing to be true.

On holiday, discovered Nate Is Late (Oskar et Malika, toujours en retard) in France. Looking to find an English or subbed copy ASAP for my kid.

Also, finally got around to watching Tito and the Birds, which was like three times as good as I was expecting.
