300k pro-Palestine protesters in DC

They came to Washington from all around the country — 300,000-strong — in the largest demonstration for Palestinian freedom ever held in the United States. The Nov. 4 national action stood for the complete liberation of Palestine and demanded a ceasefire, an end to U.S. funding of apartheid Israel, and an end to the occupation.

The mood in Washington was furious and strong, reflecting the mood of the Palestinian people. After rallying, they marched to the White House to tell Joe Biden, rightly referred to by many in the crowd as “genocide Joe,” that his administration’s criminal policy towards Palestinians does not speak for them.

Possibly pedantic given the intent for your comment, but... Central America is not part of NA. The population never considered itself part of it either.

America is a single continent divided in 3 parts. North A., South A., and Central A. plus the Antilles.

PS. Some people make it a point to say US citizens instead of Americans, as everyone from this continent is American.

Your point is well taken, but some of us are more directly impacted by the state of the system. It's not difficult to find posts from unhoused members, it wasn't difficult on reddit even... Some of us no longer have the luxury of civility.
