Additionally, E2E chats don't sync between devices (and iirc you can't use them on desktop at all), and group chats can't be encrypted at all.

Would be cool if this results in being able to store the Photos library in Nextcloud. Not holding my breath though.

I run NixOS. It (or something like it, with a central declarative configuration for basically everything on the system) is imo the ideal server distro.

IMO self driving cars are the epitome of Silicon Valley techbro overly complex "solutions" which look awesome and sci-fi but could only ever solve part of the problem if they became a reality.
