Another excellent example of this working is Factorio.
The original game doesn't cost a fortune, it's made by a small extremely dedicated team. They polished it so hard the shine made everything else look like vanta black. Playing Factorio ruins other games because the depth and quality of everything else is so poor in comparison.
The game came out in like 2013 early access. Full release completed in 2020. A decade after initial launch, they are going to offer a DLC, that will cost money.
Absolutely happy to pay for a DLC for that perfection.
It's now even before that
I know of two couples that went to get IVF in China/Korea. Both got to choose the gender of the baby - aka they just test and insert the one that ticks the box.
Both couples chose boys.

I work for a fortune 500. We had a "the customers are not going to be pleased" change get pushed to us, and a lot of internal backlash/pushback prevented it from happening.
A competitor then did the thing we stopped, and got reamed by the public hard enough to set the standard of "your a dumbass if you even think about this".

Sadly I am located in a country with a Murdoch hold on the F1 rights (Australia, and barely HD kayo), and because of this F1TV pro is not available here. We only get the option for live timing.
A few questions I thought some of the lemmy crew might know the answers to:
- First, is this an Ok place to ask these questions on how to get access? Don't want to upset the mods etc. if this isn't, where might be a better place?
- In the past I have seen mention of using a VPN to another location (India, turkey etc), and then using something like Google pay to subscribe for an entire year. This i believe also just worked when not on VPN after subscribing, which was appealing (as setting a VPN for the TV and mucking about at 1am is not). But I had also seen that F1TV cracked down on this also, so it may not work again.
- Any other decent live stream options? I was an initial and long time user of "Hendo and his mates" "Race Tarting" crew which was amazing for the few years that worked.
Keen to hear what the community does or thoughts on what options are out there.

I know someone who gave CPR on someone bitten by one of these.
They lived because of the CPR. They came out of hospital fine, except they were now blind because their eyes were open staring up at the hot summer Aussie sun for the entire time they were getting CPR etc.
