The bible is full of stories about refugees, from the Israelites making their way out of Egypt to Jesus himself. There's a lot of very valid criticisms to be made about Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular, but helping refugees is literally hardwired into the faith and an obligation to any practicing Christian and it's sign of how fascist immigration policies are completely normalized that the time-honored tradition of using churches as shelters for those seeking asylum is under attack all across the imperial core. This isn't just a thing in Texas, i know several stories from Germany about refugees using church asylum as a last resort to avoid deportation, with examples including an Afghan family or a lesbian woman from Morocco who had already been on trial for her sexual orientation.

35 years of far-right organizing and widespread hate crimes that conservatives did fuck all against, along with capitalist shock therapy followed by mass depopulation of rural areas and in some places outright nazi settlement policy with fascists from western states moving in and buying up cheap properties.

All actual racism is structural. If you argue that a group that experiences no disadvantage based on their skin color can be insulted in a racist way, you're already lending legitimacy to the myth of "anti-white racism" being a thing, or at the very least remain stuck in a liberal misunderstanding of racism as an individual's character flaw that leads to them acting in an uncivil way, not a part of a society-spanning system of exerting power and creating permanent underclasses along racialized lines. Any and all debate around the word cracker is always a debate about the first part of your post, and if it doesn't arrive there, that's a failure to frame the debate correctly and steer it towards highlighting how racism actually works.

Transmedicalism and its cisfascist views on what's a "legitimate" trans person are still pervasive in many parts of the world. Go ask people in a western country how many of them think you can be a woman when you have a penis, results won't be pretty. Japan has societal attitudes towards LGBT rights that are comparable to a lot of western countries - in fact, gay marriage has more public support there than in the USA, but is still illegal. Lawmakers and other elites are chronically lagging behind public acceptance, as they always do. Transphobia is something that is implemented top-down, it's incredibly hard to get rid of on a legal level.

AIM helped “create the image of the mainstream media as very liberal,” according to Alex S. Jones, the director of the Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. The New York Times described AIM as “dedicated to exposing, challenging, and at times bullying” news organizations.

AIM’s founder Reed Irvine was previously an economist with the Federal Reserve. 10 While at the Fed, Irvine led luncheon discussions for the International Economists Club and the Arthur G. McDowell Luncheon Group. The discussion topic for one of the 1969 luncheons was perceived bias against the Vietnam War by the television nightly newscasts. 11 At this 1969 discussion, Irvine, then 50, hatched the idea for Accuracy in Media.

Accuracy in Media (AIM) has grown from a one-person crusade to a million-dollar-a-year operation by attacking the mainstream media for abandoning the principles of "fairness, balance and accuracy" in its reporting. New Right philanthropies, think tanks and media support its work, and many members of its advisory board are former diplomats, intelligence agents and corporate directors.

yeah this. the entire questionaire is built in a way that makes it impossible to be auth-left unless you're some kind of nazbol or strasserite. none of the questionaire items deal with positions that would actually be "authoritarian" positions of a Marxist-Leninist, such as "freedom of the press and freedom of assembly sometimes have to take a backseat to fighting off counter-revolutionaries" or "a vanguard party sometimes needs to do purges to weed out corruption, incompetence and careerism". Instead, you are an authoritarian leftist if you hate abstract art and gay people and beat your children. Like, that's literally what you need to answer to score as a Maoist. If you espouse social policies of the USSR, such as being pro-abortion, being anti-racist and getting women out of the kitchen and into the universities, this test counts you as less of a Marxist-Leninist.

It's pure horseshoe theory at work, it tries to measure how fascist you are and how communist you are by the same questions, and the result is that actual communists cannot score as communists. Go figure.

It's funny that somebody who has made his account on here entirely to spread anti-communist propaganda calls other people a fascist. You're equating the people who built Auschwitz with those who liberated it, you're effectively a holocaust denier and a nazi. Eat shit and die, you fascist pig with your transparent wrecking attempts.
