The collapse of the Soviet union saw a massive influx of Jewish Soviet scientists into occupied Palestine that over doubled their number of PhD per capita. Most of them had to immediately enter workforce due to lack of universities in the colony. So basically they got put to work researching big agriculture and weapons of extermination.

In the last two days, media outlets have circulated reports of several countries and entities intending to bring in hundreds of trucks to break the famine in the Gaza Strip. However, the reality is stark: Only 73 trucks have entered the northern and southern Gaza Strip, and most of them have been looted and stolen under the watchful eye of the occupation and its drones. This is a clear attempt to prevent them from reaching distribution warehouses, as part of a policy of engineering chaos and starvation.
We have witnessed three airdrops, totaling only two trucks of aid. Their cargo landed primarily in red zones—according to the occupation's maps—that civilians are prohibited from access, rendering them completely useless.
What is happening is a farce in which the international community is colluding against the starving people of the Gaza Strip, through false promises or misleading information issued by major powers like the United States and its President, who have lost even the slightest degree of credibility.

In a major win for Cuba’s LGBTQ+’s community, the country’s parliament approved a new law that grants people the right to legally change their gender.
The Civil Registration Law does not require “a previous modification of appearance” or gender-affirming surgery. Individuals can use the law to change their gender twice, as long as the first time happened when the person was a minor.
In recent years, Cuba has been a trailblazer for LGBTIQ+ rights in the region. The 2019 Constitution and the 2022 Family Code legalized same-sex marriage and adoption.
Until now, it was near impossible for people to change their sex without a gender-affirming surgery. Until 2022, trans people could not legally change their name unless the new name corresponded to their legal gender. That provision was revoked in 2022, but the process remained long and difficult, according to trans activists.
Cuba’s first gender-affirming surgery occurred in 1988, and they became common in the late 2000s. But none have been performed in recent years as Cuba’s public hospitals have been forced to stop many surgeries due to the country’s economic crisis.
