god damn I rode the razor's edge of White People Spicy with this chili tonight, the one comment I had was that it was good, they liked it, nice warmth, but the spiciness was almost too much... honestly it really wasn't that spicy, I wanted to dump in at least another half a can of pureed chipotle peppers but I was told not to 🙄 because "chipotle is spicy" (omg it's like as spicy as fucking paprika 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 )

I think it was mostly just that he was in a rush like he was just trying to help me get it all done by the needed time. But like, idk, I could have done better if I were workin' on it. And I think eggplant was just a bad choice because it looked gross after cooking. Needed a thicker tomato sauce imo to cover it lol
