I know (but man the validation feels nice!) :) I am the walking incarnation of Murphy’s law not just for this, but my whole life. I think I’m a black hole of bad so other people can have better. 🫡 (yes I know that’s not how it works, but it makes me feel slightly better about the fact that everyone around me does great).
No, it was a design flaw with the phone I bought. If you used anything other than the OEM charger you were risking breaking your charge port. And it legitimately broke, not just dirty : /
I bought before this flaw was known. Too bad too because it was usb-c, so it -should-have worked with whatever but it was designed ever so slightly out of spec…
They don’t make phones anymore, unsurprisingly…
So? Who cares if people have a financial incentive to not have kids. That have that advantage now, too.
Why is it a bad thing to pay people enough for two kids even if they choose not to have them? And why should taxes be paying for this shit when companies make plenty of money to cover the lot of it? That’s just silly.
If you can show me that any of those things are actually supported by scientific study, I’m happy to learn, but yes, based on everything I’ve learned about them, they are pseudoscience. None of them are supported by any sort of research findings.
BMI does use numbers, but is complete pseudoscience, and should absolutely be moved away from.

Kinda like the Myers’s Briggs is pseudoscience, and lie detectors, and a lot of other shit we use frequently in society.
I think what we need is just something scientifically based, like at all. Numbers or no numbers.
Please don’t do vegan kibble. Cats are obligate carnivores, and do very poorly on plant based diets because they can’t digest it properly and don’t get good nutrition from it. Frankly, vegan cat food should be banned for being inhumane.

I would love to see a sword of truth series, but not done as an action thriller with shallow characters, because that’s just not what it is, damnit.
