Chanting for the death of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). Waving a Hezbollah flag at a concert. Cheering for Hamas. Calling on fans in the U.K. to "kill your local MP."

Then, video re-emerged from a 2023 concert, in London, England, when one member said, "The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP." The band apologized amid concert cancellations in Europe.

Another video appeared to show one of the band members shouting "up Hezbollah, up Hamas" at a 2024 concert in London while wearing a Hezbollah flag over his head. Both Hezbollah and Hamas are designated terror groups in Britain, as well in Canada.

Do you want to see how easy it is to be against Israels actions, support Palestinian freedom, and not support Terrorists while inciting violence?

The Likud party of Israel are war criminals. The soldiers in the IDF following Likuds orders are war criminals. Every Israelite attacking Palestinians is a war criminal. Every Israelite in support of this is supporting a genocide.

Every single one of them should be brought to swift justice. But it isn't everyone in Israel or the IDF, just like every Palestinian isn't Hamas.

I would love to comment on the content of the article but paywalls are unfortunate.

So far US and Trump has been the only one using tariffs.

No. We have counter tariffs in place in Canada, and other countries have used counter tariffs in response to US Economic aggression as well.

Once we go this route other nations will employ the same tactics against us - what’s going to stop China from imposing tariffs on Canadian exports to China?

China already imposes numerous tariffs on Canada, and has routinely used them as weapons when we get into it with each other. This includes 100% tariffs on Canola oil, oil cakes, and peas; as well as 25% on pork and seafood products. Which were put in place in direct response to Canadian tariffs on China.

And why is Carney using tariffs at a time when there are serious threats to international trade regime?

The logic I have heard him give is this is meant to recoup some of the costs from tariffs against Canada, with the money gained from that going to support workers in the industries that are currently facing serious issues.

If he gave a different answer in the article, again, I cite the unfortunate pay wall.

What happened to abolishing all domestic trade barriers since Carney cannot get a trade with any country?

Inform yourself before stating an opinion.

The irony is progressives always say "look at the evidence" only to ignore the mans numerous accomplishments in the public and private sectors demonstrating his word can be trusted. They sound like the Conservatives attacks on Singh about his watch at this point.

He is most certainly capable, highly qualified, and even if he makes a mistake at least we know he will own it. His back ground as a central banker has made him almost too honest to be a "real politician" and it is refreshing.

Agreed.

We should change the definition of ‘suitable housing’ so that a family of four can be housed in a closet with a toilet.

The Beaverton never ceases to amaze me with how on point it is.

Something tells me that two main contenders are eyeing to curb some freedoms to various degrees. Arguably Conservatives being on a more authoritarian track with Liberals tracking not too far behind

What could possibly be telling you that a Carney led Liberal Government would lead to an Authoritarian Government?

What a surprise, your account opened right around the time an election was coming.

Renounce your US citizenship at the border while holding a Beaver and Canadian Goose, screaming "Oh Canada" at the top of your lungs until someone lets you in.

I enjoy this narrative of "being forced" to go against ones own morals and principals by big bad companies because one just absolutely has to have a product for as cheap as possible.

You went to two stores and then straight to Amazon. That doesn't mean they have a monopoly, that means you really didn't try that hard to find an alternative.

If you think you have no other choice you are right because you stopped looking for one.
