I have ADHD and cycle through phases of hyper fixation pretty quickly. The algorithm you’re describing might be built for people like me (sorry!).

I find that my algorithm tends to recommend videos based almost exclusively on content from about 3 of my most recent fixations. I can usually change it up pretty quickly though. I think the trick is having a fairly robust set of playlists that I revert to whenever the algorithm fails me. This might provide some more insight to help train the algorithm, though it probably depends on a bunch of other factors.

Whenever showing me content similar to my most recent views doesn’t work, the algorithm usually just defaults to showing me cat videos. Which I’m pretty pleased with, cat videos are easily the best thing on that site.

The callback to the burning of grey terminal was great imo. Becori replicating the “cleansing” policies of other countries is unfortunately a pretty direct reflection of history. It is this type of detail that really elevates one piece as leftist fiction though. Grey terminal was just explicit agit prop.

The different responses from the public in Sorbet kingdom vs Goa was really interesting to me. Goa seemed much more physically stratified by class, so that may be why the burning of grey terminal didn’t met the same public opposition that the burning of the south did in Sorbet kingdom.

I really agree, especially about the art style. I've had some mixed feelings about the direction the art style started to take in Wano. Sometimes it worked for me, but other times it just felt a bit wobbly and rushed. Here, the actually unfinished work makes the story feel more intense and uncompromising, especially given the subject matter. I wouldn't mind if Oda leaned into this style a bit more, though I doubt that'll happen. It is always incredible that One Piece can handle so many drastically different tones so well and I'm not sure that anything approaching this style would be workable for the majority of the story.

It's the same situation as the "Simpsons predicted the future" trope, the Onion just mocks US politics and it seems predictive in hindsight because so many things are either stagnant or accelerating.

I know hexbear has had a book club before, though that may not be what you’re asking for. Maybe ask one of the mods about creating a resource page for basic readings, videos and audio recordings?

If you want an actual wiki you could also talk to the people at prolewiki but I’m pretty sure that’s ML only. It could be a decent example though. I know RedSails is popular here, so that may be a good place to start with reading material.

I’m pretty sure there was a programming community here as well and it might be worth a shot to crosspost it there as well.
