Fascism and Invading Russia During Winter

Name a more iconic duo.

Of course the fucking comments section is swallowing that line uncritically

Good chance its just Fed-to-Fed communication. So much of the internet is just saturated with manufactured consent.

We'll know in eight years. But I wouldn't put money on Israel just vanishing in a puff of hate. Haiti still exists, ffs. Iraq and Syria still exist, despite being bombed to shit repeatedly. Countries with far less have endured for far longer.

And there are simply too many Israelis with too much to lose for it to vanish inside a decade.

Unfortunately, when the people you're firing on have been starved for any kind of economic base over the last two decades and subjected to repeated bombings and invasions prior to this, it is apparently something you absolutely can do. As to whether it will work out long term? Israel has access to the US brrrrrrrrrrrr

Over the long term, Israel's overall domestic situation may end up looking more like El Salvador's or Panama's or Qatar's. But who cares? The country will plunge further into a caste-system of Jewishness, while the nation's finances will be tied increasingly to western financial interests. That feels like a feature rather than a bug.

AI is really the last gasp of the USA in terms of trying to outpace the crisis of capitalism

People said this in 2020 during COVID and 2008 with the housing bust.

The US can outpace the collapse because it controls an international currency that commands trade markets. That's why we can just keep buying more widgets forever, for the next widget milling project to make fake economic activity.

The real thing that will kill the American economy is a collapse in the price of fossil fuels. But I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

Or maybe we'll just move on to the Next Thing, like we did after the VR and Crypto markets flopped.

So long as you can print new cash faster than bag holders can go bankrupt, we can keep running this thing forever.

If anyone important gets caught holding a bag, bailout and move on.

Armageddon Storm

Y'all were worried about a 4C planet, but what happens when an ocean-sized turbo-washer obliterates human life in North America? Not so many emissions now, huh?

Even within the US itself, the resentment aimed at Cuba is reserved nearly exclusively by Cuban ex-pats (who have been wallowing in fascist propaganda for half a century) and the state security services (who continue to resent Cuba as a gaping hole in the Caribbean security perimeter and an enormous black mark on their history).

Mainstream Americans have no real skin in the game. Cuban foreign policy doesn't crack the top ten policies most Americans care about. And the generally positive pressure around Cuba as a resort location and a luxury brand has left the average tourist-brained American envious rather than hateful.

We're going all in on Quantity over Quality, it seems.

Although... I gotta say, if you're using the same engine and just building out settings with an asset designer, this shouldn't be a huge stretch for a company as big as Ubisoft. Every department spits out location assets and you effectively cobble together an entire massive online world in pieces.

It's just a shame that the gameplay will be restricted to "Welcome Assassin, please collect six mangos from the mango farm and deliver it to the Mango Market in Mangostan. Then kill the Mango Man."

It would be very funny to see Americans mald over rising treat prices, except...

  1. This shit never seems to catch the biggest fish. They just send everything to a big warehouse in some exempted country (Indonesia, Korea, Canada, wherever) and have people put stickers on the widgets as part of the "final assembly process", then insist that's the country of origin.

  2. People will pay $1500 for a "next gen" iPhone that has a slightly nicer camera and a chromium finish. The tariffs don't seem to meaningfully impact our import rate.

  3. Insourcing production to the US (assuming this is ever actually going to happen) is technically good for the American economy. Trump's methods are ham-fisted and ill-conceived, but re-capitalization of the American economy would be an unmitigated good and would strengthen this cursed white supremacist state.

  4. The whipped dog of the American proletariat only ever knows how to lash out at weaker and more vulnerable people around them. They continue to lack any revolutionary character that might actually harm the foundation of the bourgeois dictatorship.

Friendly reminder that Iran is the only nation on earth for Persians. Iran has a right to exist. It must maintain its sovereignty against the aggressive territorial incursions of European expropriators, Russian invaders, and South Afrikkkaner settler colonists.
