Which is fine until you're selling your interface on the basis it "just works". You don't get to advertise your interface is super intuitive and then defend yourself with "oh you're just not used to it".
All respect to Steve, but in this regard he's wrong - the parts might be proprietary in a lot of regards, but these machines are repairable af, they're just not aimed at the average consumer. Local site support will rock up to your desk and stick a new display adapter in for some extra monitors or take them away and swap out broken parts and have the same PC on your desk next day. Big enterprises buy these machines precisely because they're repairable and upgradable and getting stock typically isn't an issue.
People the can't get their point across/accepted without belittling other people always come across as pretty insecure to me. "Do as I say or I'll shit all over you in front of everyone". It's like every bully trope ever.
On the other hand, what does stink insecurity for me is the "I need to carefully pick words to avoid breaking someone else's feelings" attitude.
Yeah you sound like one of those "I just say it like it is" types that never quite grasp that "how they see it" isn't the same as "how it is"

Except that's not what happened in the old days, I've been getting PC game patches for as long as I've been gaming, upwards of 30 years. You're not going to get every bug. Console games just didn't get patched, if it was a buggy PoS it remained a buggy PoS.
