They are absolutely right to hate the subreddit, it's just that the reasons they hated it were pathetic. The weird shit Nick Mullen said guesting on Chapo after the sub was banned was a bit of a final straw for me. Just incredibly clear that Will, at least, had completely lost touch with what the project had been at that point.
I can't believe we're getting the "closing the sub for a joke isn't okay" struggle session ityool 2024
But also fuck you, illuminate
Haha. I remember digging up the last post will made on /CTH and it was some fucking dire stuff. Someone commented something pretty milquetoast about not liking to pay money for a left wing podcast only for the hosts to have a guy on talking about his reviews of fast food restaurants and will lost his fucking shit. It wasn't like it was a bunch of people dunking on him, or even that the one commenter was being particularly harsh. He was just for whatever reason feeling especially thin-skinned that day.
it isn't okay to close the sub for a joke.
Oh my god, I've left this account basically idle since the sub was banned (as it should have been but for the wrong reasons, as I predicted) and haven't seen the volcel police in a long time. Good (?) shit.
Thanks, much appreciated!
of course, how could I forget
65-70 years? Quick bit of research suggests the region came under the control of imperial china in the 18th century? These people are always so, so illiterate.
I guess since he sucks it's now bad that he killed a POS ceo and demonstrated that the bourgeoisie aren't invincible.
"be the solution"
hm.
hmmmmmmm.
I have no idea who they are which is probably for the best
