Just spend all of it on trains/trams and give the roads to the cyclists.
I'd be cheerful if I had all that pasta, too
Two level platform? Then you're actually boarding double the number of passengers, could be useful in very busy stations.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
I made a robot which is delighted about the idea of overthrowing capitalism and will enthusiastically explain how to take down your government.
3 Body Problem. It was great, although I'm disappointed I didn't stick to my guns and read the books first.
There's one of these pricks nearby my house. We have these tiny narrow roads and this prick is taking up 30% of it with their giant truck. Why? I have never seen them put anything in it. Right now the through road is blocked and you have to turn around awkwardly.... Bet they regret that thing now.
Lemmy: my new girlfriend caught me installing arch while wearing her thigh highs
Mutual aid, in other words.
Of course there is some parking, but there is no need for a dedicated car park for this market. Many of these people will have come on foot or by public transport, that isn't a lie at all. Public transport in Germany isn't exactly a model to follow imo (I was surprised, I expected it to be down to an art tbh), but like most of Europe the cities are walkable and at least have some form of public transport system.
The idea that population numbers are all it takes is so stupid. Mozart is not just one guy who was really good at writing music. I mean, obviously, he literally was, but he only existed and wrote what he did in the way he did because of not only his own "genius" but also the circumstances he was raised in, his education, the musical traditions that he drew from, the fact that he was wealthy and had time... Etc etc.
Adding more people living in poverty, with poor education, no connection to musical or artistic tradition, and no time... Will not add more Mozarts.
Ah, yes. Of course. I understand your frustration entirely because of my deep understanding of the specific situation.
