They are....billionaires. That is the common denominator of horrible people. They think that because they are rich beyond measure that their opinions should rule the world. The world would be a much much better place if we were rid of the pestilence of the billionaire class and maybe the '$100s of millions' class. No one gets to being a billionaire by being completely honest, law abiding, fair, moral and ethical. Rules must be ignored in the quest for superlative riches. Those rules are only for those who haven't become rich enough to ignore them. Even if they seem like benign benefactors, scratch the surface and you will find they are, without exception, evil.

Florida is already making it normal for children to be the future workforce.

Whew. As a GenX, I didn't have any of those either. In fact I'm quite sure my Silent Gen parents didn't either. I don't know anyone who managed to pay off their mortgage before age 40 or 45 and the passive income only came as retirement funds after age 65.

Biden was putting in programs to help them but they instead chose to vote for Trump who is bankrupting them so that his rich friends can buy up their properties for pennies on the dollar, if that.

Time to boycott El Salvador. Knit clothing seems to be their biggest export item.

40 years ago, I loved driving. Even 20 years ago it wasn't bad. Lots of open roads near by. In the big city, rush hour was 30 mins in the morning and an hour or so in the late afternoon. Other than those times you could get around the city quite well. There were always some yahoo drivers but they were a small part of the population not a majority. Now I walk whenever I can, take the bus sometimes and only drive if I know I can do it in the lower traffic (although still busy) times. I'd like to bike more but unless it is a completely separated lane there are too many badly driven vehicles to take chances with my life.

They never understand that their wages, their benefits, their subsides for their businesses to survive are the "waste" that the right is talking about. To cut "waste'" is to cut all government because government only exists to stop the rape and pillage by a business entity strong enough to be doing it. Why should the food you consume be safe - that cuts into corporate profits. Why should children be educated - that cuts into corporate profits. Etc. If you aren't the owner of said corporation, you do not matter. Of course Trump needed their ill-informed vote to do what his is doing now. This is exactly what they explicitly voted in favour of, even if they were too dim to understand that.

The Canadian version in our current election is climate change denial. We can't have any restrictions due to carbon/fossil fuels because that costs money. Even though by not have any restrictions, fossil fuel corporations are shifting 100% of their environmental damage costs on to taxpayers. We don't get the revenues, we don't get the profits but we get all the costs. Once again: privatized profits, socialized costs. The status quo of big business.

Was. He was a great marketeer. And then he crashed his brain and is ruining everything he built.

It was only a girl that died. They might have cared if it was a BOY.

Wasn't dog in a crate? Possibly died due to lack of water and food?
