Coming from deeply conservative evangelical culture, I can tell you that to them, she isn't a pastor, she's a woman pastor which a completely different and significantly less respected thing. To us she's just a pastor, which also earns her buckets of disrespect. She's basically unelectable by everyone.

This is Medici, where they speak Interligua, a sort of blend of Spanish, Catalan, French, and Italian and where the world's largest natural source of bavarium was found. I remember reading about the revolution a few years ago that ousted the dictatorship that got powerful on the back of Bavarium mining. The US was caught blatantly supporting both sides, but the revolutionaries won and now they are a democracy again.

Shame people are too easily offended to get a character like stiffler in movies nowadays.

This is such a BS take. The Boys exists and is super popular. You'd never be able to show anything like the boys back in American Pie times, there are far worse characters than Stiffler in current media. The Boys is setting off an "offensive content" pissing contest so things are only going get more filthy. Tell you republican grandpa, or whomever told you otherwise, that his movies are safe from the Woke Monster under his bad.

So if you miss a payment your mouse shuts off?

How is your standing policed, with an always online requirement? So if I move and need to wait to get my internet up, I can't use my mouse?

Are they legally liable for lifetime support or are you signing away that right in the EULA and they can end support for your "lifetime" mouse on a whim?

I'd rather rent my furniture than subscribe to a mouse, but both practices are exploiting this world's rampant financial illiteracy.

Their accents are different. Bob has a Midwest touch to his speech, as is standard for Illinois kids like him, Steve speaks classic Western New England, typical of his Massachusetts upbringing, which is almost exactly the same as American Standard.

But these two came up in the New York comedy world around the same time. They weren't close but had many mutual colleagues. It might be more about a similar performance style than a regional accent you're noticing.

Unwordly Americans like to pretend people think of the US as the best country in the world. They think this because they have never spoken to someone from outside the US except for the Mexicans they persecute, so they have an empty canvas to fill with all kinds of wild notions.

Politicians are generally worldly enough to know it's not true, but that doesn't win elections.

Where I live we've had a 4% cap for a long time. It just means tenants get evicted to increase the price. It's illegal, but the procedure to after landlords cheating the system is so grueling and adversarial, it puts justice beyond the reach of many victims. I can only imagine this being even worse in the US.

Your facts don't check out, that's what makes you wrong. Fallacies are just the symptom.

Plex isn't another evil tech company, it's just full of stupid features and unresolved bugs. Jellyfin just isn't good enough to replace it yet; it's more finicky to setup, isn't as good as matching titles and displaying the metadata, and has fewer features. But it is catching up fast.
