Apparently getting shot down in a helicopter was very common in Vietnam
You probably know the Huey, iconic US Vietnam-Era helicopter.
The US military lost 6000 (!!!) of those in Vietnam.

When there's particularly bluey blue skies in spring and summer - which is much rarer in Northern Europe than in the continental US, you guys are spoiled on that front too - we Germans call it "Bombenwetter" (bombing weather).
You can probably guess the etymology of that.... and also - man those Germans have a word for everything!
the maps of Ukraine have seen a couple of changes in the last few days.
Not nearly enough though!
Has anyone else just not followed this war at all?
I wish I had - two years down the drain that I'll never get back, thanks Joe, you old demented fuck.
Then again it was absolutely glorious/baffling/just couldn't stop to watch NATO and the West entangling itself in this mess and lose to Putin's Russia. Just... being alive while history is made, you have to watch and marvel, right?
Maybe should have stopped after Afghanistan. DEFINITELY should stop after Kyiev falls. Probably want to watch when Tel Aviv falls.
He looks very old now for sure.
Needs to include visits to THE SLAG HEAP and PATRICE LUMUMBA STREET with an audio narration by Alexander Mercouris
But they are way ahead of basically everyone else. 0.065CAD/kWh
Lol I have to pay 0.37€ per kWh, literally two orders of magnitude higher.
to be considered "able to fly at all" by pilot instructors are far harder than flying into the twin towers
But he didn't fly into the towers, he flew into the Pentagon.
A 5-story building, at ground level, while doing 850 kph in a civilian airliner, less than 20 ft above ground. On the first try.
After executing said corkscrew maneuver in an unfamiliar airplane.
What's the US gonna do in this parable, transmit coordinates for Taiwan to Sirius? Is China Earth? I hate these hard-to-interpret comparisons.
Those Chinese companies should paint all wind turbines red and make them look more like hammer and sickles next. For "safety reasons".
So what are the odds of Poland actually invading western Ukraine?
Right now, not so much. Such an operation would require at least a month of serious military buildup. Considering that the Poles might have to go up against a Wagner-cum-Russian Army detachment (thanks for letting me say that) invading southwards, make that two months.
There would be a lot of public bickering between NATO and Russia in that time and Germany and France probably intervening diplomatically. The European public would probably be against it since this is getting very serious then. At least it would be in their interest to do so, lol, not so sure about Annalena and her braindead colleagues.
It's called "nom de guerre" dad, and it's a far superior concept to a "moniker"!
