Why the fuck is Germany even allowed to have an Air Force?
Don't worry, it's a terrible air force. We have two types of combat aircraft - one is a sort-of-good 50+ year old design MRCA that will be replaced by the F-35 (genius move!) and the other is an interceptor designed in the 80s that was pushed into the fighter-bomber role. The project was so bad that France left and developed their own plane - they managed to finish the design faster and cheaper.
Oh and the entire Bundeswehr is basically the worst army money-efficiency-wise. We pay almost as much as Britain or France, who have like nuclear subs and actual nukes. Germany has less tanks than Poland. It's a giant grift, maybe worse than the friggin' Pentagon. Everybody thinks it's money well spent.
While that certainly seems like what eternal Washington wants out of Ukraine, I'd rather bet on one side collapsing or retracting first.
The human burden on Ukraine has been incredible, and the economic damage on pretty much all of Europe is grave after just 18 months of conflict. Doubt this drags on for many more years.
You could have picked ANY hopeless last stand from 2000+ years of military history and you went for an obscure sideshow war in the German unification wars that less than 1% of humans are even aware of.

My main argument - just look what two years of that MF Biden did amount to, we now have the largest land war going since Vietnam and nobody's stopping it.
Are they seriously thinking about demilitarizing Europe and replacing them with American equipments? Is the end goal to destabilize Europe?
