Man was not meant to have this kind of power. Unplug and repent!

Just some BS about his experiences in politics, outlook on democracy and such. Maybe "speech" was the wrong word, it was more like a talk... but he spoke from a podium and without a panel or something.

He said that he was particularly proud of being the honorary president of the German beer brewers association. I should have shouted if that's the reason for his hardcore anti marihuana stance lol.

Hey we had three generations of the Red Army Faction! Some of those guys are still at large and rob the occasional bank here and there... in their 60s! With like, bad knees and bladder problems and all!

Call me back when you have Weathermen or Black Panthers doing similar things (actually curious, don't know)

As soon as the kiss is over, a team of Ukrainian patriots enters the building and mobilizes you forcefully for the spring 2025 counteroffensive. As you're dragged away to a black van, you imagine hearing Joe Biden laughing in the distance.

YES

I distinctly remember walking past that building - back then I was a huge lib - and thinking "oh wow this looks like THE most 70s building ever... wait what does the plaque say over there? Embassy of the DPRK? What's that?"

The B1 bomber is a particularly impressive piece of grift - a mid-cold war scam from the 60s that got buried and then resurrected by Reagan (as the B-1B, there was no A model lol).

Of course its Soviet counterpart (the Tu-160) is better in every way, like much larger and heavier, a bigger bombload, and still 600 mph faster lol. Can fly in freezing cold and scorchin heat too, while the B1 has issues with temperature.

There's no shame in that. Or maybe there is

Shame or not, there's practical consequences - I once was scolded by mods and had posts deleted for being horny for Tulsi. zelensky-pain

So the lesson is, don't be horny for neoliberal girlboss warcrime politicians.

Politics is show business for ugly people.

[-] ChapoKrautHaus@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago

Good point of course, but then again what would you have thought if somebody told you in 2019, "oh yeah buckle up buddy, we'll have a huge virus pandemic very soon and then Europe will bumble into the largest nation-state war in 50 years... in less than four years!"

[-] ChapoKrautHaus@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago

No more half measures, Jimmy.

If only they had a cheap source of energy or something

I was going to scold you for this apparent yankee-brained post because I assumed that they still produced most of their natural gas themselves, but then I looked it up and seems like the Netherlands decided to phase out their own natural gas fields and substitute it with Russian gas in like 2018. Guess what happened since then... and of course they're right next to Germany, which has bought large amounts of gas for basically any price that was asked.

Lol. Lmao, even. Europe is fucked, huh.
